My new fav from a recent session...Music is so much about listening...I think this is a good example of that...Pure improv.

Photo Essay - Sketch

(download)

We were recently asked to write an instrumental piece and play it live for Photo Philanthropy's activist award event.
The event took place at Fort Mason in SF, an amazing place, with the backdrop of the bay and Alcatraz Island.
We were given the photo essay from Dmitry Markov, an amazing Russian photographer, and began writing what I believe is one of our finest instrumentals to date.
Connor & Parker did most of the writing and it is truly a moving piece to play live.

We were honored to include John Parsons on guitar in the lineup that evening.

It was truly a memorable night.
Hope you enjoy.

Starsky's Bad Day

(download)

A grimy evening, early August 1977, south side of Chicago, Starsky walks home through the ghetto after a particularly bad day.
At 4:02 (in this track), Starsky is overtaken with remorse, he begins to run, then sprint, tears streaming down his cheeks...
home.......home......

We hope you make it Starsky.
